SHEFFIELD, Iowa – Ground was broken Thursday on the new Bin Town Child Care facility, designed to serve Sheffield and nearby communities.

A project of the Sheffield Childcare Expansion consortium, including Sukup Manufacturing Co., West Fork School District, and UBTC, the center was designed by Atura Architecture of Clear Lake, with construction led by King Construction of Iowa Falls. It’s set to open by late summer 2024 and will accommodate up to 112 children.
