STUDENT COLLABORATIVE DESIGN COMPETITION
The Student Collaborative Design Competition (SCDC) is an annual program that allows students to compete, learn, and grow their understanding of design related solutions for the current education environments. Participating schools are given a new design challenge each year where they are required to create a design solution modeled after a typical architecture firms feasibility study.
Each team spends several weeks or months gathering data, sketching ideas, designing models, and creating displays to present to a judging panel of industry professionals. Winning teams receive monetary awards to be invested into the continuing of STEM related education.
