Renovations to the Algona Athletic Fields Gateway are part of a multi-phased project designed to make facility improvements to Algona High School. Phase I of the project features a new softball field, a new entrance building that will house concessions, a restroom, and ticketing facilities, a new plaza and gathering spaces, lighted walkways with signage, and improvements to site accessibility and circulation.
Phase II of the project includes an auxiliary gym addition on to the existing high school with an accompanying parking lot.
